Subscription video on demand (SVOD) services such as Netflix are proliferating around the world.
While that’s not necessarily a negative for broadcast and cable TV in all countries, its growth has been particularly troublesome on a domestic level, GroupM Global President of Business Intelligence Brian Wieser notes in a new report.
“The impact is likely negative for traditional TV in the U.S.,” he says.
