WASHINGTON, D.C. — Many years ago, during his WJFK-FM days as the co-host of Don and Mike, Michael Sorce — a.k.a. Don Geronimo — was given the opportunity to co-host Washington Redskins pre-game programming. It didn’t pan out for Geronimo or for WJFK, which would see the NFL team’s games shift to another station.
Nearly 30 years later, The Don Geronimo Show has a new on-air home, and so does the team today known as the Washington Commanders: It’s the same radio station.
