A popular DJ and Spanish Broadcasting System radio personality has just landed his first syndicated radio program, and a September launch is in the works.

Alex Sensation, a top talent in the EDM universe and one of the Latin music world’s top spinners, has signed on to host La Mezcla con Alex Sensation.

It will be distributed by SBS’s AIRE Radio Networks, its national radio entity.

“Alex Sensation is one of the most prevailing music DJs and artists in the Hispanic market today, and it is only fitting that we showcase his undeniable talent on a national platform making it readily available to audiences nationwide,” said AIRE EVP/National and Network Elisa Torres.

Sensation will helm a two-hour radio show, comprised of Sensation’s top music mix of the week, which includes a medley of Latin and English-language pop music genres. The show is set to premiere in the following markets as part of the first phase of its syndication:

• Philadelphia
• Tampa
• West Palm Beach
• Minneapolis
• Providence
• Hartford
• Greenville, S.C.
• Springfield, Mass.
• New Haven, Conn.
• Waterbury, Conn.
• Richmond
• Raleigh
• Indianapolis
• San Angelo, Tex.
• Tulsa

Additional markets will be announced at a later date.

Sensation was discovered by SBS while still in his teens as a night club DJ at the famous Copacabana in New York. He was invited to join the DJ roster at WSKQ-FM “Mega 97.9” in New York, where he rose to fame. His show was later added to SBS-owned WXDJ-FM “El Zol 106.7” in Miami.

Sensation is also a recording music artist and has collaborated with some of the biggest Latin music stars of 2018, including Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Gente de Zona, and Yandel.

“I’m excited to use this platform as a way to further engage with a broader audience,” Sensation said. “The syndication of my music mixes has always been a goal for me and I’m excited for the opportunity to launch the show with AIRE Radio Networks.”
