No, we aren’t talking about changes in signal contours causing stations to lose viewers, we’re talking about changes in the appearance of politicians due to the unforgiving resolution of high definition television – the topography of the face — causing them to lose voters. According to Politico, current legislators who cleared the way for HDTV will have to be very careful with their TV appearances to avoid losing ground to younger, smoother-skinned opponents.
