Nexstar finally gets the nod to acquire Grant stations


Nexstar Broadcasting GroupEver-growing television group Nexstar announced its intention to pick up stations from the Grant Company almost a year ago. Here’s why it took the FCC so long to approve the deal. Broker: Kalil & Co.

The FCC only took into consideration six of the seven stations involved in the transaction. A seventh went to a Nexstar partner corporation, Mission Broadcasting.
