Nielsen Shares Sink To Fresh Five-Year Low

Nielsen has a new deal with Hearst Television. It has a relatively new CEO. Yet, its share price continues to sag. On Thursday, Nielsen stock dipped to a fresh five-year low.


With heavy volume of 4.79 million shares (average volume is 3.98 million shares), NLSN was down 1.44% to $23.19.

In early after-hours trading, it gained a penny, to $23.20.

It marks a new five-year low for Nielsen, which had been as high as $37.49 in the last days of January.

Furthermore, it had been steadily trading in the $53 range until September 2016, when Nielsen first revealed it had problems in its Buy division.
