Agencies Get Diary Measurement Shift Close-up

In late September, Nielsen Audio made a major revelation that will “transform” the measurement of markets that are measured with the diary.


A quarterly or two times a year view is disappearing, and will be replaced with year-round measurement with monthly reporting. This means all of Nielsen Audio’s markets will receive data every 30 days — just like its electronically measured markets that utilize the Portable People Meter (PPM).

When this will begin and how was shared with advertising agency representatives in a Thursday webinar conducted by SVP/Product Leadership Bill Rose and Managing Director Brad Kelly.
