No NFL blackout Sunday in Miami

The Miami Dolphins along with WSVN-Ch. 7 purchased the necessary tickets to ensure this Sunday’s Miami Dolphins vs. Washington Redskins game will be telecast live throughout South Florida. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.  The unused tickets will be used for the military and to reward season ticket and premium members.

“It is with great pride and gratitude that we provide complimentary tickets to our troops and veterans for Sunday’s contest as part of our annual Salute to Service military game. These tickets are a small token of appreciation to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for this country,” said Mike Dee, Dolphins CEO. “In addition to the military, we will also reward our premium members and those members who have not yet been able to receive additional tickets.”

The Dolphins will distribute the allotment of tickets on a complimentary basis to military and members of the Disabled American Veterans.  Any remaining tickets will be given to premium members and those season ticket members who have not been able to receive complimentary tickets when the team bought out the Texans and Broncos’ games. The opportunity to allow members to select additional seats at no cost serves as a membership benefit and helps to create a home-field advantage, while also maintaining the price integrity and value of season ticket memberships.
