Compass Media Networks’ Norman Goldman (normangoldman.com) has been added as the afternoon driver at CC Radio’s KTLK (K-Talk) AM 1150 and effective Monday 4/11. The LA based program will be carried live on the 50,000 watt station serving Southern California beginning at 3PM local time. Goldman’s progressive radio show will now be heard “live” in three of the top five US radio markets as well as becoming his third major market affiliate addition in the past five weeks.
Goldman launched his independently owned radio show some 18 months ago with the pledge of supporting local radio stations. He has held rallies, spoken at Town Halls, made advertiser appearances, and sponsored events, all at no charge to his stations no matter the market size.
Building on the strength of his terrestrial radio affiliates, Norm’s fans have virally promoted the live program to smartphone, computer, and web radio listeners in other non-affiliated markets. His live broadcast, streamed at 6PM Eastern, 3PM Pacific provides breaking news, analysis, and real time audience interaction, thereby causing his daily radio podcast to be time shifted and accessed over 110,000 times per month and growing.
