Compass Media Networks’ “The Norman Goldman Show” has been doing well from the Ron Reagan retirement and the chapter 7 filing of Air America.

“Norman is taking the ball and running with it,” Peter Kosann, CEO of Compass Media Networks, tells RBR-TVBR.

The show is now the fastest growing program in progressive talk radio with the additions of eight markets, including Chicago and Portland, Oregon. New markets added within the past 48 hours include Chicago, Portland (OR), Reno, Madison, and Ithaca.

“Within roughly 100 days of Norman’s launch into national radio, the distribution of program is surging,” added Kosann.

“Norm is filling a huge hole in talk radio – His fierce independence is exactly the right position at the right time for today’s progressive audiences,” said Bill Figenshu, CEO of FigMedia1 and advisor to The Norman Goldman Show.
