Romina Rosado has been named the new SVP/Digital News for Noticias Telemundo.

Rosado has a large amount of experience dealing with content for digital platforms. Some of her previous titles include working as senior vice president of global content at NBCUniversal and E! News and as executive producer at Us Weekly.

“Romina’s wealth of brand experience coupled with her strategic digital insights will further strengthen our positioning as the #1 media company reaching Hispanics online in the U.S.,” said Luis Fernandez, Executive Vice President of Network News at Telemundo Networks in a news release. “We are thrilled to have her in this key leadership position to help continue building on Telemundo News’ brand across all platforms.”

As the new vice president for digital news at Telemundo, Rosado will lead all digital programs for Noticias Telemundo and Digital News.

She will work alongside other teams in the newsroom such as editorial, research and marketing, help find new ways to increase consumer experience, form new ways to better market the company and work with others in Telemundo Enterprises to further connect the network with the Hispanic population in the United States, according to a news release.

Once she starts her position, Rosado will be working at Telemundo’s new headquarters, the Telemundo Center, in Miami and report to Fernandez.
