New York Market Radio Association (NYMRAD) has released the First Quarter, 2019 State of the New York Market Report.
The comprehensive analysis of the New York Tri-State Area marketplace is designed to help advertisers understand Radio’s impact on consumers and its prominent role in the local advertising landscape. The report assesses the New York area economy, including business drivers, and provides up-to-date consumer research on music consumption, radio usage, and more.
In addition to the New York market, this quarter’s report will focus on the Tourism & Travel and the Real Estate & Home Improvement sectors.
“Radio reaches 227 million American listeners at least once a week,” says NYMRAD Executive Director Debbie Beagan. “That is more than smartphone apps and internet usage.”
She offered the oft-repeated stat that Radio reaches 92% of the adult population, which is the highest reach across all platforms (including TV, computers, smartphone, tablet).”
The NYMRAD State of the Market Report provides specific business trends as well as local information from a variety of sources including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Nielsen Audio, Labor Statistics for the New York City Region, and Edison Research.
