Obama carries "60 Minutes" to the top of the chart

The first post-election interview with President-elect Obama and his wife, Michelle, gave "60 Minutes" its biggest audience in early a decade and was the most watched show thus far in the 2008-2009 television season.


CBS won the Household ratings for the 7th straight week, scoring a 7.7 average rating and 12 share. It was followed by ABC 6.7/11, NBC 4.8/8, Fox 4.1/6, Univision 2.0/3, CW 1.4/2, MyNetworkTV 1.0/2, Telemundo 0.6/1, Ion 0.4/1, TeleFutura 0.3/1 and Azteca America 0.1/0.

CBS also won the key 18-49 demo, followed by ABC, NBC, Fox, Univision, CW, a tie by Telemundo and MyNetworkTV, TeleFutura and a tie by Azteca America and Ion.
