Oil company advertising detailed by Media Monitors

On April 20, 2010, the BP oil rig Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico, 52 miles southeast of the Louisiana port of Venice exploded killing 11 workers. Media Monitors tracked the number of spots on Radio, TV and Cable from April 20, 2010 until June 1, 2010.

April 20 – 30, 2010            3,837 spots

May 1 – 10, 2010               666 spots

May 11, 2010                    325 spots
