An asset purchase agreement signed on March 12 and filed Thursday (3/25) with the FCC sees a transfer of control approval request for three Georgia properties:

  • WDRJ-LD in Albany, Ga.
  • WFDY-LC in Albany, Ga.
  • W16EE-D in Augusta, Ga.

The seller is HC2-controlled DTV America Corp., with HC2’s Renee Ilhardt and COO Les Levi signing off on the sale.

The buyer is a privately held owner of television stations on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Georgia and Kentucky — Marquee Broadcasting Group.

Marquee is headquartered in Salisbury-Ocean City, Md.; and its stations can be found in Dover, Del.; Bowling Green, Ky.; Glenwood Springs, Colo.; and two Georgia markets. Its CEO is Patricia Lane, while its VP is Brian Lane.

The deal is a bargain at $42,000, with Greg Guy of Patrick Communications serving as the seller’s broker of record.
