Steckline Communications already has an AM station in Garden City KS. It has now acted on a 2/13/08 option to acquire a CP for another. RAMS1 is the seller. Gregory Steckline will pay $60K cash to build the double-AM duopoly in the southwest Kansas town. The CP is for a Class C on 1340 kHz with 1 kw-D and 880 w-N on a non-directional stick. Garden City is well off Arbitron and Eastlan ratings maps.
