Praise Be: Seven-Year Run Ends For College FM

0

On March 16, 2012, a 4kw Class A FM signed on the air as the student-run voice of a university in the eastern end of North Dakota. RBR+TVBR reported on the station’s sign-on, in front of a crowd of enthusiastic student supporters.

Seven years later, this school is following the lead of other institutions of higher learning by selling off its radio station.

It’s a “Praise”-worthy deal, and will likely signal the end of over-the-air broadcasts by students.
