One of the top-rated Urban morning radio programs in New York on Power 105.1/WWPR-FM, The Breakfast Club is now available to Urban radio stations for air Monday-Friday from 6 to 10 a.m. local time. The Breakfast Club, which can also be heard on iHeartRadio.com and the iHeartRadio mobile app, Clear Channel’s all-in-one free digital listening service, has already added the following stations to its growing affiliate roster: KOHT-FM/Tucson, WOWI-FM/Norfolk and WMJJ-FM/Birmingham.
The Breakfast Club stars Charlamagne Tha God, former co-host of The Wendy Williams Experience and current host of MTV2’s Guy Code; Angela Yee, one of the stars of the VH1 reality show The Gossip Game, and correspondent for MTV2’s Sucker Free; and DJ Envy, legendary DJ, mixtape master, and host of MTV2’s Sucker Free and Week in Jams. Each morning, fans of The Breakfast Club tune in to hear DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God’s unrivaled interviews and conversations with celebrities and hip-hop artists, entertainment news, fresh music mixes, along with their signature blend of honesty and humor. Launched in December 2010, The Breakfast Club was named the #1 radio program in the nation by “The Source” magazine. It’s also widely regarded as one of the most informative and entertaining Urban morning shows today.
In March, Premiere launched Weekends with the Breakfast Club into national syndication, and in just a few months, the program surpassed a broadcasting milestone of 50 affiliates.
