We knew that Mount Wilson FM Broadcasters had a deal to buy KYZZ-FM in the Monterey-Salinas CA market from Buckley Communications. Now we know how much the company will be paying.

The station will be going for $1.15M cash in a deal brokered by Richard A Foreman and Associates.

The deal represents a territorial expansion for Saul Levine’s Mount Wilson radio group; meanwhile, Buckley will be liquidating an FM that had been simulcasting the sports programming heard on KIDD-AM and will also continue to operate AC KWAV-FM in the market.

KYZZ is a Class A on 97.9 MHz with 2.9 kW @ 479’.
