We knew that Eddie Edwards had found a station upon which to restore radio programming for the African American community of Pittsburgh, and now we know how much he’s going to pay for it. The price of WPYT-AM Wilkinsburg will be $450K cash. Edwards has already plunked $20K of that into an escrow account.
For those of you keeping score at home, Wilkinsburg is one of the inner ring of communities surrounding the city, located just to the east of Pittsburgh proper.
