Radio Disney launches “N.B.T: Making it Big”


Radio Disney will launch a new multi-platform daily programming feature, “N.B.T.: Making It Big,” chronicling the rise of Allstar Weekend, the inaugural year “N.B.T.” (“Next Big Thing”) finalists now signed to Hollywood Records. Premiering on 3/17, the show provides audiences on-air, online and via mobile devices an inside look at what it takes to make it big in the music industry.

It will take Radio Disney and Disney Channel audiences behind the scenes of Allstar Weekend’s journey leading up to the 6/22 release of their debut album on Hollywood Records. Featuring details on how they first formed their band and became “N.B.T.” artists to what they love most about recording sessions, photo shoots, and making music videos, “N.B.T.: Making It Big” will give audiences a first-hand perspective into the lives of these rising stars.

NatureSweet Cherubs Tomatoes is teaming up with Radio Disney to support the companion to the network’s hit series. The integrated marketing program will offer NatureSweet consumers and Radio Disney’s 22.2 million listeners free digital music downloads, an interactive talent contest and family-friendly local events.

NatureSweet will provide on-pack digital music downloads on over 9 million units featuring hit songs from Allstar Weekend and last year’s “N.B.T.” winner Jasmine Sagginario. NatureSweet will also host a talent contest at, where consumers are invited to submit videos of themselves performing a talent for a chance to win a trip to Los Angeles to meet Allstar Weekend. Additionally, NatureSweet will reach Radio Disney’s kids and moms through national on-air media, exposure on Radio, and 18 local events in top markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and San Francisco with music, games and NatureSweet product samples.
A dedicated “N.B.T.: Making It Big” destination both online and on mobile ( will feature a wide variety of video content including interviews, performances and behind-the-scenes footage. Additionally, fans are invited to stream music online, enter a sweepstakes for a chance to meet the band in person, and submit questions to the band at or via text messages. Allstar Weekend will post video answers to the most popular questions.
