ION Media Networks and RCN Corporation, a provider of digital television, data and voice services to residential and small – medium business customers, announced an agreement to launch Qubo Channel, the TV and online entertainment service for children, in New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. Qubo becomes the second ION Media Networks channel available to RCN’s major market systems, joining ION Television, which is already carried in New York, Philadelphia and DC.
Qubo is a bilingual television network for children that focuses on literacy, values and healthy lifestyles, while celebrating the unlimited possibilities of a child’s imagination.
