Regent Communications, Inc. changes the brand to Townsquare Media, Inc., and CEO Bill Stakelin out and Steven Price, co-founder of media investment firm FiveWire Ventures, in as the Company’s Chairman and CEO. Stuart Rosenstein Appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
The Company emerged from bankruptcy protection on April 27, 2010, less than two months after its initial Chapter 11 filing. A fund managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P., a premier global alternative and non-traditional investment manager, owns a majority equity stake in the Company. Messrs. Price and Rosenstein intend to make a significant equity investment in the Company.
