Repeat Offender … And A Past License Loser


One would hope that a Notice of Violation from the FCC would not only fix a problem, but lead an operator of a radio station to avoid making the same mistake twice.

Oops. The licensee of an Alabama facility has just been handed a NOV for transmitting some four miles from its authorized location. That’s what a September 2013 given to this same operator largely noted.

But, it turns out the individual involved as a history of issues. Nine years ago, he was stripped of his licenses for a litany of violations including the alteration of checks.
