He has been with Audacy Corp.’s Sacramento radio stations since August.

Now, just months later, he’s rising to the role of Operations Manager while retaining his Brand Manager role for the cluster’s Active Rock and Classic Rock FMs.

Earning the new duties is Aaron Roberts, making him the man in charge of content strategy, talent, operations and branding for KRXQ-FM “98 Rock,” KSEG-FM “96.9 The Eagle,” KKDO-FM “ALT 94-7,” KSFM-FM 102.5, KUDL-FM “106.5 The End”, KIFM-AM “ESPN 1320” and the local efforts associated with “Channel Q,” heard on KKDO-HD2.

“When we welcomed Aaron to our team in August, we were confident in his ability to position 98 Rock and 96.9 The Eagle for success,” said Stacey Kauffman, Regional Vice President for Audacy in Northern California. “His experience and leadership style has done just that and we’re excited to have his oversight on our full suite of stations moving forward.”

Roberts said, “I’m excited to expand my role here in SAC and oversee our market’s rich portfolio of stations. I look forward to taking this next step in my career and appreciate the tremendous support from the Audacy team of Stacey, Vince, Dave and Jeff.”

Roberts previously spent a decade with Cumulus Media and its Westwood One operation, and was its VP of Programming Operations and Special Projects from 2014 to 2019. His radio career spans over 20 years in operations and programming, and includes roles as OM for the former Citadel in Scranton, Pa.
