Saga CEO Ed Christian says labels need radio airtime, not cash


The reactions to the NAB announcement 8/6/10 of the outlines of a deal with musicFirst on the Performance Rights Act, and to the NAB Town Hall meeting on the same topic just the other day 8/23/10, have been mixed. However, for a great many in radio, it seems the NAB is asking a lot after having metaphorically sent them marching against the labels with fixed bayonets only to suddenly reach out for a warm handshake. Such is the case with Saga CEO Ed Christian.
