Saturday NBC line up with ‘SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE’ dominated time

Saturday, 11/20/09, NBC at 8 p.m., a rebroadcast of MERCY averaged a 0.4/1 in 18-49 and 2.2 million viewers overall.


At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of LAW & ORDER delivered a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 4.3 million viewers overall.  From its first half-hour to its second, L&O increased its 18-49 rating by 43 percent (to a 1.0 from a 0.7) and its overall viewership by 27 percent or 1.0 million persons (4.8 million vs. 3.9 million).

At 10 p.m., an encore telecast of LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT averaged a 1.4/4 in 18-49 and 5.8 million viewers overall.  In the time slot, LAW & ORDER: SVU was #2 among the major networks in total viewers, adults 25-54 and all key adult-female demos (pending updates).  SVU built on its lead-in by 75% in 18-49 and 35% in total viewers. 

In late-night metered-market households Saturday night:

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, hosted by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and featuring musical guest the Dave Matthews Band (4.3/11 in metered-market households) dominated its time period.
