Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) hosted a party last night to celebrate the launch of Mega TV over DirecTV Channel 169 in Puerto Rico (last year, SBS with DirecTV to broadcast Mega TV programming across the US on Channel 405, DirecTV Más). The celebration took place at the historic La Concha Hotel in San Juan from 7:00-11:00 PM. Guests included celebs from both Mega TV and SBS Radio. In addition, the first hour of ‘El Circo’ will air in the US on DirecTV MAS in the morning "Radio on TV" segment.
"With the launch of MEGA TV on DirecTV in Puerto Rico, we will be adding a variety of compelling programs from SBS’ strong radio brands for the entertainment of all Puerto Rican families. February 28th is a new page in the history of the television in Puerto Rico and we are proud of being pioneers in the launch of this project with SBS," said Roque Lombardo, GM of DirecTV. "All of our customers will now be able to listen and watch some of their favorite radio and TV programs from SBS on DirecTV.
