SCBA elects new executive officers

The Southern California Broadcasters Association’s Board has voted in a new slate of officers for the 2014-2015 term. The elected executive board will include as Chairman, Jaime Jimenez, Senior Vice President, General Manager, Univision Radio, LA; Vice Chairman, Marko Radlovic, President and Market Manager, Team Cumulus/LA; Secretary, Miles Sexton, CEO, Point Broadcasting, LLC, Ventura/Santa Barbara; Treasurer, Greg Ashlock, President and Market Manager, Clear Channel Music + Entertainment- LA; and as At-Large Executive, Val Maki, Senior Vice President of Emmis Broadcasting and Market Manager, KPWR- LA. Serving as Immediate Past Chair is Dan Kearney, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, CBS Radio/LA.


“I am proud to serve as Chair of the SCBA and look forward to an exciting future for Southern California Radio and my fellow board members,” said incoming Chairman, Jaime Jimenez.

“The Board of Directors has elected a strong and pro-active group of SCBA officers,” said SCBA President, Thom Callahan. “The SCBA has a number of important initiatives planned for 2014, 2015 and beyond, and I look forward to working closely with this great group of Radio executives to continue our momentum. We now have elected officers that represent all of Southern California with a variety of markets, ownership, and critical regional interests. The SCBA remains a vibrant, independent Radio Advocacy organization serving all of our members in all of Southern California.”
