Viewership to this first post-strike returning episode exceeded pre-strike levels across all key demographic groups. Nearly 7.2 million viewers tuned in to the Tina Fay-hosted telecast, representing a 43% increase versus SNL’s prestrike average. Not only did the episode exceed pre-strike audience levels, it also out-performed the comparable weeks from the previous year across the board.
