The August 23 introduction of a bidding schedule featuring three hour-long sessions each day and the August 29 doubling of the increment percentage used to set new clock prices for each round of spectrum bids has certainly helped to speed up the process—and increase the billions of dollars already put into the FCC Forward Auction.
Questions persist, however, regarding the Commission’s ability to hit its $88.3 billion target.
According to Bloomberg, it won’t happen in this Forward Auction.
