Stock Markets Skittish, Broadcasters Go Down


The losses weren’t too bad, less than 1% for radio and just a bit over half a percent for television, as traders fretted about a GDP valley and Fed mutterings. But the Fed thinks the slowdown was temporary. That’s skittish traders for you.

The RBR Radio Index fell 7.132, or 0.1%, to 744.911.

The TVBR Television Index fell 5.197, or 0.5%, to 963.059.

CBS, up 1.9%
Radio One, up 1.3%

Emmis, down 3.3%
Cumulus, down 3.0%
Gray, down 2.9%
