Stocks End Week On A Downhill Slope

If one is looking for any long-term stock market trends, forget it.


The rollercoaster-like activity on Wall Street continued again on Friday, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 122.91, to 24,360.14. Nasdaq was down 33.60, to 7,106.65.

Among the top performers were Viacom, with its Class B shares up 18 cents, to $30.70.

Netflix’s engines are running again, thanks to a new bundle with Comcast announced today.

For radio companies, one of the few to gain ground on Friday isĀ Entercom.

The pure-play radio broadcaster, which has struggled to surpass the $10 level of late, finished Friday’s trading up 10 cents, to $9.65.
