Stocks in worst day in 5 months on China worries

Stock indexes Monday got swept into a stampede out of resource shares after reports from China showed slower economic growth and industrial production. Soured sentiment built as the session wore on, exacerbated by a drop in home builders’ sentiment. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 266 points, or 1.8%, to 14,599.


The RBR Radio Index was down 19.746, or 3.7%, to 507.584.

The TVBR Television Index was down 31.573, or 5.4%, to 552.274.
