Stock prices moved up a bit on Wednesday, led by companies in the basic materials sector, but the advance was rather tentative given the continuing turmoil in the world. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 67 points, or 0.6%, to 12,086. Broadcasting stocks had an up day.
The RBR Radio Index was up 2.175, or 0.6%, to 385.151.
The TVBR Television Index was up 2.171, or 0.8%, to 262.753.
