Better than expected reports on pending home sales and manufacturing gave stock prices a boost on Monday, although that did not extend to television stocks. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 77 points, or 0.8%, to 9,789.
The RBR Radio Index rose 3.427, or 2.2%, to 162.022.
The TVBR Television Index fell 3.657, or 3.4%, to 102.679.
