It was a fabulous Friday on Wall Street for both radio and TV companies, as Tribune Media Co. enjoyed a $1.73 climb, to $31.35, and Sinclair Broadcast Group jumped ahead 95 cents, to $35.85. Nexstar Media Group also finished strongly, jumping $1.30, to $67.55, as the Forward Auction wrapped up and clarity increased for companies’ possible proceeds.
Gray Television improved 10 cents, to $12.60, as the company on Feb. 7 issued a restated credit agreement with Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America, RBC, Deutsche Bank, and Regions Bank.
The RBR Radio Index rose 12.594, or 2.11%, to 608.454.
The TVBR Television Index rose 7.137, or 0.72%, to 996.614.
