Sunday encore of 'America's Got Talent' scored well for NBC

From 7-8 p.m. ET, “Dateline NBC” delivered a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall.  In the time period, “Dateline” is currently tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and tied for #1 in women 18-34.  “Dateline” matched its highest Sunday 18-49 rating of the summer to date.


From 8-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “America’s Got Talent” (1.5/5 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall) scored its highest rating so far this summer for a Sunday encore.  In the time period, “Dateline” is currently tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and is #1 outright in adults 25-54 and total viewers.

At 10 p.m. ET, the second season premiere of “The Marriage Ref” (1.6/4 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key demographics — adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.  “The Marriage Ref” topped the ABC-CBS competition combined in adults, men and women 18-34 and equaled those encore dramas combined in men 18-49 and women 18-49.  In adults 18-49, the “Marriage Ref” margin was 60 percent (1.6 vs. 1.0 for CBS’s second-place “CSI: Miami” encore).

NBC won the night in adults 18-49 and other key categories.  It’s NBC’s second straight Sunday win in 18-49.
