Harpo Radio and TargetSpot, the nation’s largest Internet and mobile radio ad network, announced an agreement for Harpo Radio to provide short and long-form content to TargetSpot’s network for sponsorship and syndication via pureplay internet radio.
The content will feature popular Harpo Radio talent including Gayle King, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Dr. Laura Berman and Derrick Ashong, among others. As part of the agreement, TargetSpot will also sell ads for streaming inventory originating on the new Harpo Radio player launching 4/26 on HarpoRadio.com.
The vignettes from Harpo will provide a unique branding opportunity for TargetSpot’s top advertisers. The short audio clips of .30, .60 and .120 second durations will be available to advertisers for sponsorship and syndication on pureplay Internet stations on the TargetSpot network.
Advertisers will also be able to tap TargetSpot for its exclusive ad inventory on Harpo’s new Radio Player and can target their audience by demographics (gender, age), geographic area (zip) and programming content using TargetSpot’s industry leading platform.
