Telemundo led in Spanish TV on Sunday

Telemundo, a leading producer of high-quality content for Hispanics in the U.S. and audiences around the world, today announced that the network’s Cine Millonario airing of Titanic made Telemundo the #1 Spanish-language network the night of Sunday, January 23 across all key demographics.


The network delivered over 2 million total viewers (Persons 2+) (2,026,000) and over 1 million viewers among the Adults 18-49 demographic (1,226,000). Telemundo also reported strong deliveries among Women 18-49 (553,000), Men 18-49 (673,000), Adults 18-34 (785,000), Women 18-34 (357,000), Men 18-34 (428,000), Kids 2-11 (322,000) and Persons 12-17 (133,000).
 
Telemundo’s primetime performance on Sunday night out-performed the combined delivery of Univision and Telefutura among a variety of key demographics, including Adults 18-49 (1,226,000 vs. 1,224,000), Men 18-49 (673,000 vs. 622,000), Adults 18-34 (785,000 vs. 723,000), Women 18-34 (357,000 vs. 354,000), Men 18-34 (428,000 vs. 369,000), Kids 2-11 (322,000 vs. 248,000) and Persons 12-17 (133,000 vs. 79,000).

Sunday, January 23rd marked the fourth time this season that Telemundo ranked as the #1 Spanish-language broadcast network in primetime on a Sunday night among Adults 18-49, Men 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Men 18-34.  Including Sunday the 23rd, Telemundo has been #1 in Sunday prime this season on two nights among Women 18-49 and total viewers (Persons 2+) and on three nights among Women 18-34.
 
Locally, Cine Millonario and Titanic out-performed Univision’s 7-11pm primetime rotation in Los Angeles, Miami, Houston, Chicago and Dallas.
