Salem’s NYC talker 970 The Apple has launched (2/1) a new afternoon drive show with Guardian Angels Founder Curtis Sliwa and fiery, Latino journalist Gerson Borrero from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM Monday-Friday. Sliwa & Borrero will cover the issues from all perspectives. You may already know them from their New York 1 TV segment, seen Wednesday nights on “Inside City Hall.”
Sliwa (who was also on WABC-AM for years) has been hosting The Curtis Sliwa Show on The Apple since January 2010 in mornings. Now he adds two more hours in afternoons. Borrero is well known as a TV commentator, blogger, newspaper columnist and radio host in both the Hispanic and Anglo communities.
