The Independent rep firm has aligned with Mountain Wireless Inc. as the station group’s exclusive national rep. The group operates WFMX-FM, WCTB-FM, and WSKW-AM and serves the Augusta-Waterville, ME market.
WFMX-FM is the exclusive AC station in the market featuring Mid-Maine’s favorite morning team, Hanson and Verzoni.
WCTB-FM is a mix of Oldies from the 50’s and Classic Hits from the 60’s and 70’s. The station fills a real radio need in Mid-Maine because the state has the oldest median age in the country (age 42—higher than FL).
WSKW-AM is Mid-Maine’s home for Classic Country. The station plays songs that most Country stations have stopped playing, but listeners still want to hear. In a rural, older skewing state like Maine this is a perfect format.
