The X Factor sees 16% rise

FOXAiring THE X FACTOR results show (featuring a performance by Taylor Swift) and an original GLEE, FOX ranked #2 last night among Adults 18-49 and won the night among Adults 18-34, Teens and Women 18-34.


·         THE X FACTOR (2 of 12 Voted Off): 2.4/7, up +4% from last week in Adults 18-49 and up +16% in Total Viewers (7.3 vs. 6.3 Mil.)

·         GLEE: 2.1/5, down -13% from last week, but was still the highest rated program of the night in Female Teens (2.7/10).

FOX outperformed the #2 nets of the night by +5% in Adults 18-34 (2.0/7 vs. 1.9/6 for CBS), +20% in Teens (1.8/7 vs. 1.5/6 for CBS) and +23% in Women 18-34 (2.7/8 vs. ABC’s 2.2/7).

Competition

ABC’s Last Resort (1.3/4) tied its series low, down -7% from last Thursday (1.4/4). Grey’s Anatomy (3.1/8) fell from week ago (down -6%). At 10pm, Scandal (2.1/6) was up +11% vs. last week’s series-low rating (1.9/5).

On CBS, The Big Bang Theory (5.5/17, up +8%), Two & A Half Men (4.1/12, up +2%) and Person Of Interest (3.1/8, up +7%) all posted gains versus last week. At 10pm, Elementary (2.3/7) grew +5% from week ago.

On NBC, 30 Rock (1.2/4) was up +9% from its most recent telecast (1.1/4 on /31/12), while Up All Night (1.3/4) was down -7% from two weeks ago. The Office (2.0/5) fell -17% from last week and matched its series low. Parks & Recreation (1.7/4) was flat versus last week, and Rock Center With Brian Williams (1.1/3) closed the night up +10% week-to-week (vs. 1.0/3).
