Three more Equity contracts filed

Deals spinning full- and low-power Equity Media stations in Little Rock AR, Cheyenne WY (plus a Denver LPTV) and Waterloo IA have made it two the FCC – all told, there are three contracts involving two different buyers.
Valley Bank, headed by Larry Hensen, is involved in two of the deals.


VB is getting KQCK-TV Cheyenne WY and KQDK-CA Aurora CO from Equity for $5.45M. The Aurora Class A is considered to be in the Denver DMA. The terms for this and the other two deals are described as being a mix of cash, credit and debt forgiveness.

VB’s second deal is for KWWF-TV Waterloo IA, in the Cedar Rapids-Waterloo-Iowa City-Dubuque IA DMA. That one went into the books at $1.6M

The third deal is for a flotilla of mostly low power stations in the Little Rock area. They’re being picked up Hallmark National Mortgage Corporation, headed by Eugene L. Maris for $1.075M. Included are KKYK-DT Camden, KKYK-CA, KHTE-LP & KHUG-LP Little Rock, KTVV-LP Hot Springs & KWBK-LP Pine Bluff.
