Tiny Tortoise Spins Las Vegas DMA LPTV Property

LAS VEGAS — It may be far from the Las Vegas Strip and closer to St. George, Utah than the Bellagio, but the city of Mesquite is within the Las Vegas DMA. Thus, having a low-power TV station in the burgh along Interstate 15 may be of interest to some.

Count Scott Centers among those that see value in such a property, as he’s just bought a LPTV station licensed to Mesquite.

Centers’ Center Point Broadcasting Company is agreeing to acquire KMSQ-LD in Mesquite from Tiny Tortoise Investments LLC.

Centers is paying $25,000 for the LPTV property.

Serving as his broker in this transaction is Craig Ruark, doing business as The Broadcast License Store.

The seller is not responsible for any broker commission.

Tiny Tortoise is helmed by Michael Mulinax, who resides in famed seniors’ only city The Villages, in Central Florida.
