Tom Kent Radio Network (TKRN) has added one of the highest rated Classic Hits stations in Canada with CFXL 103.1 FM Calgary, Alberta for 6p to 11p Monday-Friday for its C.L.A.S.S. program. In doing so, TKRN also inks an exclusive Canadian syndication sales agreement with Orbyt Media, a division of AstralMedia Toronto.
C.L.A.S.S. stands for Customized Linked Automatic System Solution. It’s a new way of delivering daily voice tracked content, unique to TKRN. Available via download or live via satellite. The C.L.A.S.S. show targets stations for afternoons in the AC, Hot AC, Classic Hits and Oldies formats but the show is available for all formats and all dayparts.
TKRN CEO Tom Kent tells RBR-TVBR Orbyt is the largest syndication company in Canada, and the move looks to be leading to bigger and better things: “Since we’ve signed, we’ve got interest coming now coming out of Toronto, Edmonton and some other markets there, so we think this is the beginning of something big and wonderful.”
