Townsquare Media is a buyer. It’s also a seller, and the company led by CEO Bill Wilson is doing both things in a Deep South market.
In twin filings made Wednesday (6/5) with the Commission, it is picking up a Class A with a tower to the west of Tuscaloosa, Ala. This results in the spin of a Class C2 FM serving the market from the far south.
The buyer? Only the No. 2 licensee of radio stations in the U.S. behind iHeartMedia.
