The National Translator Association will host the 2019 NTA Annual Meeting and Convention at the Eldorado Silver Legacy & Circus Circus in Reno, Nev., on May 9-12.
New to the convention this year is the ATSC 3.0 seminar hosted by Joel Wilhite, Senior Systems Design Engineer. The session will be from 1-4 pm on May 9 and will cover the management of compression systems for TV translators.
Topics during the three-day convention include FCC updates on ATSC 3.0, eligibility in the first and second displacement windows, mechanics of filing, OET input signal, TV Study Updates and FCC research tips and tricks.
Other topics include Competition for TV spectrum: white spaces, C-Band, 7 Gig; projection for TV broadcasting and packing the most into your available channels.
