TuneIn adds Entercom, Emmis, Cox

TuneInTuneIn, a service that lets people listen to music, sports, news and comedy from around the world, announced alliances with the three groups to extent the reach of their programming to its more than 30 million monthly active listeners.


Stations will gain access to unmatched industry offerings via TuneIn Amplifier, which provides free analytics and an advertising platform. Listeners can check out their favorite stations via more than 150 different TuneIn platforms including smartphone apps, connected vehicle dashboards, Internet home entertainment systems and online at tunein.com.

Entercom has 111 stations in 23 markets, including San Francisco, Boston, Seattle, Denver, Portland, Sacramento and Kansas City.

Cox Media Group has 86 stations in 19 markets including WSB/Atlanta, WDBO/Orlando and 99 Jamz/Miami.

Emmis has 20 stations in the nation’s largest markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Austin, St. Louis and its hometown of Indianapolis. TuneIn listeners can enjoy popular Emmis stations like Hot 97/NY and Power 106/LA — two of the most influential hip hop stations in the world.

Emmis and Cox recently signed a similar deal with Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio.
