Bill G. Garlen’s Southern Media Associates will pay $10 to acquire WPHJ-CA Vidalia GA, in the Savannah GA DMA, and another $10 to LMA it up until closing day. The seller is Christi Warren Deal’s Pebble Road Investments LLC. The greatest investment in this transfer will actually come when its time to pay the regulatory fees, which will be the exclusive responsibility of the buyer.
RBR/TVBR observation: This could be a very worthwhile investment if the FCC ever gets around to granting must-carry status to Class A televisions.
